business cards?

I want to make my business cards, but i do not know how to show the grid lines that you type information in. I mean that there is a specific format , you cant just type it on Microsoft Word. So can someone tell me how to get that and what to do if you want it double sided?

Regarding turning on grid lines, I assume you’ve created a table with one cell for each card. If so, you can turn on the gridlines (without printing them) by clicking the Table->Show Gridlines menu item.

To make it double sided, you have to create a full-page table for each side, then print one side, take it out, turn it over and print the other side. If you want to print several pages worth, on the Print dialog box, use the Print Current Page option in tandem with the Number of Copies textbox, then print the other side for all of them.

I need to make a business type card, but I am needing to put it onto disc, like CD or DVD.?

I am needing it to be copied onto a CD or DVD, so that either one will be playable on any device. Where do I start? Are there any online tutorials. I’m wanting to do it by myself, without ordering anything from a company to save money. Which also brings to my attention if software is needed I prefer it to be free for the time being. Can I put the company website onto disc, how? Do I use HTML, how? any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Copy your content onto the CD. HTML is fine.

Create an AUTORUN.INF file and put it in the root folder of the CD.

Add a line like:
OPEN=%WINSYS%\IEXPLORE.EXE
where is the HTML file on the CD that you want to open. Create all of the links to pages on your website, local to the CD.

Keep in mind, you can also have it open an actual online website, too.
